2022: Tourisme Cantons–de-l’Est holds a series of consultations and workshops with stakeholders leading to the elaboration of a development masterplan for mountain biking in the area.

2023: Adoption of the masterplan, allowing to create bridges between stakeholders (trail center, bike schools, shops, etc).
2024: The Collective, supported by financial contributions of 7 trail centers, from Tourism Eastern Townships and the Conseil sport et loisir de l'Estrie, hires a first part-time employee and starts working on:
- Corhorts for organisational resiliency
- Grants addressed to PAFILR programs at Loisir et Sport Montérégie Loisir et Sport Montérégie
- Major grant application on the Plan montagnes program from the Ministry of Tourism (MTO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MAMH) Plan Montagne
2025: The funding obtained allows for the hiring of Francis Tétrault as a full-time project manager in march 2025. The Collective's main project revolves around classification and signage in trails, aiming at providing a uniform and safe experience to visitors, both local and touristic.
2025-26: Many actions are implemented (see the 2025 recap), amongst which branding and social media pages, along with a video campaign. The Collective is born!

2026: The Collective enters phase 2 of its development and broadens its offer to the entire Eastern Townships: Joins us!
